Will Eminem Respond to MGK?

Just before we get started, this blog is going to cover both sides of the story. I will explain why Eminem will not respond, then go on to explain why he should respond. Obviously we do not have the answer, but the points made for each reason will clear up what you think of the outcome.

No, He Will Not

Honestly…. why would he?. I mean I could be wrong but hear me out. First off Eminem didn’t really diss anyone on his album. He might’ve talked smack in response to people that talked down on him. Or he pointed out the lack of skill in today’s hip-hop, but he didn’t verbally come crazy at anyone specific. Just a few name drops. He wasn’t looking to diss anyone like the media makes it out to be.

With that being said, what are they even beefing about? Besides a little sneak diss a few years ago and this tweet below, there is no actual reason they have beef. So to me this might not even be worth Eminem’s time. Who is MGK compared to Em? He might have all eyes on him right now but thats only because he came at one of the best. If no response came out of this, it would blow over so fast and MGK will be doing nothing. (Not that MGK isn’t a great rapper, but he isn’t that relevant)

Also the fact that MGK repeatedly gives Eminem his respect as the best. On “Rap Devil” he says “Yeah I’ll acknowledge you’re the GOAT”. (Greatest of all time). And in the same tweet below he calls him a king. Maybe Em will just let him have his moment and let it be.

Yes, He Will

Well, this is what Em does. Although he hasn’t made music in a while (besides his new album), Eminem loves hip-hop. If someone stepped up to the plate to challenge him, he’s going to play the game. And “Rap Devil” was HARD. MGK had some pretty ruthless things to say about Em and came at him all different ways. It is easy for Em to not reply but that wouldn’t be any fun. This is the stuff he lives for. This is REAL hip-hop.

The main reason this feud started was because MGK made the first move when he was featured with Tech-N9ne’s “No Reason” where Kelly said:

“It’s only one option, you gon’ need a doctor / I ain’t talkin’ ‘bout the one from Compton     I pop cherries and popstars, you popsicles is not hard / Popped in on the top charts out the cop car / To remind y’all you just rap and not God and I don’t care who got bars”

So why not go all out. Because the fact Eminem didn’t really diss MGK and just name dropped him, now might be the time to lace up the boots and go all out.
